With the help of Turner Development, the Chitwood family, the USDA, and our friends at Land Legacy, ELC has permanently preserved a 100-acre meadow in east Edmond, complete with buffalo wallows. The conservation easement covering this scenic and historic meadow was purchased, in part, with funding from the USDA Farm and Ranchlands Protection Program, only the second such grant ever awarded in Oklahoma.
